What are flavour drops?

Flavour drops are a concentrated liquid flavouring. A few drops flavour a whole glass, so one small bottle makes many drinks. They're also called liquid water enhancers. They're a simple way to make plain water more interesting, or to swap a sugary soft drink or flavoured milk for a sugar-free one.

Water drops, soda drops or milk drops?

  • Water drops are made for still or sparkling water and need only a few drops per glass.
  • Soda drops give a soft-drink-style flavour and are designed for sparkling or soda water.
  • Milk drops flavour dairy milk and plant milks such as almond, oat, soy or coconut.

What's in Vital Zing drops?

Vital Zing drops are made from a short list of ingredients: water, natural flavour and stevia, with some varieties adding citric acid, tea extract or a natural colour. Stevia is a sweetener made from the leaves of the stevia plant. According to the manufacturer, the drops contain no sugar, no preservatives and no artificial colours. Each product page lists the full ingredients.

How to use flavour drops

Start with the number of drops recommended on the label for a 200ml glass, then add more or less to suit your taste. Water drops need fewer drops per glass than soda or milk drops. You can also stir them into smoothies, yoghurt, tea, mocktails or baking.
