What is Dr. Tung's Oil Pulling Concentrate?

What is oil pulling?

Oil pulling is a traditional Ayurvedic practice where you swish a small amount of oil around your mouth for a short time, then spit it out. Many people add it to their routine alongside brushing and flossing.

What's in it?

How do I use it?

Follow the directions on the pack. Typically, you add a few drops to a little water or oil, swish it around your mouth, then spit it out. Don't swallow it, and spit into a bin rather than the sink.

How is it different from Dr. Tung's Rejuv for Gums?

Both use organic sesame oil and a blend of 24 herbs. The Oil Pulling Concentrate is made for swishing, while Rejuv for Gums comes in a dropper bottle and is applied a few drops at a time. Follow the directions on each pack.

Is it vegan and gluten-free?

Yes. The manufacturer describes it as vegan, gluten-free and cruelty-free.

When should I see a dentist?

If you have bleeding, swollen or painful gums, loose teeth or ongoing mouth pain, see your dentist. Oil pulling is not a replacement for brushing, flossing or dental check-ups.
