Davids Hydroxi Sensitive + Whitening is a fluoride-free peppermint toothpaste made with nano-hydroxyapatite (nHA), calcium carbonate, baking soda and birch xylitol. It comes in a 113g (4 oz) recyclable metal tube and is made in the USA by Davids.

What is nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste?

Hydroxyapatite is a calcium phosphate mineral and the main mineral in tooth enamel. In a nano-hydroxyapatite toothpaste it is made into very fine particles; Davids uses rod-shaped particles of about 50 nanometres. Some toothpaste brands use it in place of fluoride.

Ingredients

Calcium carbonate, vegetable glycerin, purified water, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), birch xylitol, hydrated silica, nano hydroxyapatite (rod shaped), sodium cocoyl glutamate, carrageenan, coconut oil, peppermint oil, spearmint leaf oil, anise seed extract, wintergreen leaf oil and stevia leaf extract.

How to use

  1. Wet your toothbrush and add a pea-sized amount.
  2. Brush all tooth surfaces for two minutes, morning and night.
  3. Spit out after brushing and don't swallow. Roll the metal tube up from the bottom as you go.
