Davids Whitening + Antiplaque in natural peppermint is a fluoride-free, sulfate-free (no SLS) toothpaste made with calcium carbonate, baking soda, hydrated silica and birch xylitol, flavoured with peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen and anise. It comes in a 149g (5.25 oz) recyclable metal tube and is made in the USA.

Ingredients

Calcium carbonate, vegetable glycerin, purified water, sodium bicarbonate (baking soda), birch xylitol, hydrated silica, sodium cocoyl glutamate, carrageenan, peppermint oil, spearmint leaf oil, anise seed extract, wintergreen leaf oil and stevia leaf extract.

How does it whiten without peroxide?

Fine calcium carbonate, hydrated silica and baking soda gently polish away surface stains from coffee, tea and food, for a brighter-looking smile. There's no peroxide or bleach.

How to use

  1. Wet your toothbrush and add a pea-sized amount.
  2. Brush all tooth surfaces for two minutes, morning and night.
  3. Spit out after brushing and don't swallow. Roll the metal tube up from the bottom as you go.

No. Davids Whitening + Antiplaque peppermint doesn't contain hydroxyapatite. Davids' nano-hydroxyapatite toothpastes are Hydroxi Sensitive + Whitening and the Kids + Adults orange vanilla.

Does it whiten with peroxide or bleach?

No. It has no peroxide or bleach. The whitening comes from fine calcium carbonate, hydrated silica and baking soda, which polish away surface stains from food and drinks.

Should I use fluoride or hydroxyapatite toothpaste?
